The interior design project for an apartment renovation in Posillipo (Italy), involves specific interventions in order to provide flexible and customizable space. The internal configuration has been redesigned to exploit the enormous environmental and panoramic potential.
The apartment has L layout, and the living area and the sleeping area have been identified according to the best light and solar exposure. The living room consists of a double height open space that allowed the design of a small studio loft, accessible through the wooden overhang steps that characterize the unit wall in lounge zone.
The custom furniture has been designed simultaneously with the spaces organization, in order to create an unique and excellent environment. Sitting comfortably on the sofa is possible to feel an intimate shelter which protect from the frenetic city life giving the warm atmosphere of a fireplace and the wonderful landscape framed by large windows.
The modern and dynamic environments find their best expression in their materials such as wood that characterizes the furniture in his classic shades or in a lacquered white colour.
