RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX H-25 I-20

The new building with residential and service functions is based on the lot  H-25, ex-area Fiat in Novoli, in front of the park, where the most important transformations and requalifications of Leon Krier's masterplan for this area take place. The concept defines a compact volume which is able to focus with great attention on the public space and the park, with  particular concern to the natural component of the site. In fact the gardens and the nature/green elements play an important role in the project, amplified by the materials of the elevations, characterized by warm colours and referable to the land, as the sorrounding context. The design concept of the façade is characterized by an architectural system that prefers the "emptying" and "material excavation" of "architectural mass", there are several typologies of voids, like accessible loggias, views through impractical insoles defined by inclined planes, double height loggias, all defined by triangular elements, which accelerate the view to the landscape and articulate the elevations rhythmically. The sustainability of the building has  also been considered a very important part of the project, introducing photovoltaic and solar systems and tecnologies to produce green energy.
